Offered is this IMPORTANT, HEAVY, ornate sterling silver open salt & pepper shaker, manufactured by Howard & Co. , New York. The height of the footed open salt is 2 1/8”; the overall diameter is about 3 ½”; the weight is 7.38 Troy Oz. The height of the footed pepper shaker is 6”; the overall diameter is about 3 ¾”; the weight is 10.9 Troy Oz. The condition is wonderful.  Notice the pretty embossed swag around the center of each piece. There has never been a monogram.
