Towle Sterling Silver 3-PIECE TEA OR COFFEE SET

This is a classic and elegant sterling silver 3-piece Tea or Coffee set crafted by Towle Manufacturing Company and sold by Bigelow Kennard & Co. in the early-20th century (1905). It features a teapot, creamer, and sugar bowl. The design is characterized by its simple, clean lines and a smooth, polished finish which is indicated by the high shine.

Individual Pieces

  • Tea or Coffee pot: This is the central piece of the set. It features a bulbous body, a curved spout, and a hinged lid with a finial. The handle is curved and attached to the body at two points by very unique design (pictured).

  • The height is 9 " to the top of the finial and the width is 8 1/2" from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle.

  • Creamer: This is a pitcher designed to hold cream or milk. It has a curved spout and a handle. The size and shape of the creamer complement the teapot.

  • the height is 3 1/2" and the width is 5".

  • Sugar Bowl: This is a bowl with a wide opening, designed to hold sugar cubes or granulated sugar. The sugar bowl in this set has two curved handles on either side and the design is similar to the other two pieces.
